In the News: Just When You Thought No One Wanted to Buy American
Ford is expecting a massive cash injection (apparently to fund alternative energy auto research) from the Department of Energy, who will expand the details of this injection as early as tomorrow. Earlier in the year, Ford stated that it expected as much as $5 billion from the DOE to roll in by 2011, but hopefully tomorrow’s announcement will shed light on this story. I just thought that it was interesting to note that somewhere out American motor investment (and large investment at that) is still feasible and even being down.
