Welcome to Bank on Banking, a new web site designed to help anyone pave his or her own finance-driven career path, and, ultimately, break into investment banking and thrive! As an investment banker who currently works for a bulge bracket bank and who previously worked for a boutique M&A advisory firm, I know what the position requires, and, perhaps more importantly, I know what it takes to break in – i.e. what the recruiters, staffers and head hunters are looking for. I have helped many friends, colleagues and acquaintances polish their resumes, brush up on their technical knowledge, nail their interviews, and land the job. Although in the current financial environment the barriers to entry will be higher than ever before, regardless of your background, it is absolutely possible to overcome the hurdles and earn an investment banking position.
